Pack-and-Ship Specialist

We are adding a part-time person to our high functioning team - this newbie will be a multi-tasking, organized superstar to manage and execute packing and shipping for us.

The Work:

We’re looking for a part-time employee to pick, pack, kit, and ship approximately 300 boxes per week.   Projected time 18-25 hours per week with some flexibility to plan and prepare certain packages for future shipment. 

Here is what you’d get to do in this role:

  • Bundle, Wrap, Pack, Label and Accurately Ship packages ~ getting the list of names on Monday for shipping pickup scheduled on Friday
  • Use our shipping software to upload data, troubleshoot addresses and print address labels
  • Follow and track orders and solve problems that arise.
  • Manage all the details and don’t let anything through the cracks.
  • Manage the supplies inventory to be sure you don’t run out of product
  • Collaborate with our awesome team! You’ll get to roll up your sleeves and be a support to the CEO and four other team members. We are small, but we are mighty.
  • Demonstrate your awesome multi-tasking and problem - solving skills.

  • Have no problem lifting boxes up to 40 pounds in weight
  • You’d rather pause and ask for clarification or help than to make an error
  • Have top-notch computer skills, including (internet/cloud/Google Docs) skills.
  • Have the flexibility to work well individually and as a team
  • Have excellent project and time management capabilities + a sense of urgency.
  • Have the adaptability and enthusiasm to do whatever is needed. We are a small team and flexibility is essential.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
